For anyone interested in Japan, there are few websites better than Web-Japan. (Nothing actually comes to mind.  If you know of one, by all means post a comment here or send me an email.)

As I have mentioned time and time before, if you want to learn the language you MUST learn about the culture and this is a great place to start.

The Japan Fact Sheet, with all of its recent updates is impressive.  It covers many topics and contains many well written and easy to read articles.  Do note that these are pdf files, so expect to be downloading them first.

It is divided into 6 categories: Introduction, Economy, Government, Sports, Culture, and Society.  It also comes in other languages such as;  Spanish, French, Chinese, and Korean.

This is definitely a link that you must check out if you want to learn about Japan.  It is a one stop shop for gathering information on Japan.
