* Japanese.about.com- This is a great overall site for Learning Japanese. Their forum is usually comprised of members truly interested in Japan or Japanese language.
*www.coscom.co.jp- This site is well designed and comes with free lessons as well as info on Japan. It doesn’t quite have the impact that iknow! has but definitely worth stopping by.
* Lang-8- Not really a site for beginners, but once you get your kana and some kanji down, this is a great site for getting help and making friends.
* Guidetojapanese.org- Bookmark this site. It is an invaluable site for anyone learning Japanese. Great forum at the bottom too.
* Tim’s Takamatsu-This site has a wealth of information for the casual or intense learner of Japanese.
* NHK Learn Japanese- Great site for those traveling to Japan.
*Japanesepod 101- This was recommended to me by a friend of mine learning Japanese. This is a great site that covers all stages of learning Japanese. Great bundle of free ipod lessons too!
* Kanjihacks.com - Great site for developing a strategy to learn Kanji.
