Japan Immigrations Bureau: website

If you have lived in Japan for a long time you may remember what immigrations was like.  I can tell you that the immigrations offices are set up really nice now.  If you go there, you will find people to assist you with your paper work, along with a staff that is customer service oriented.  In retrospect, I must say that my experiences with the immigration office and its officials have been mostly positive.

Now you can go to their website (http://www.immi-moj.go.jp/english/index.html) and get information as well as download forms for applications of Certificate of Eligibility, Re-entry Permits, and many more.  I remember the days when we had to drive or take the train to the immigrations offices just to pick up the forms.

If you are thinking of staying in Japan, or are already there and need information regarding immigration policies, I would definitely recommend that you stop by their site.

Life is good!
